Your votes and submissions are in and we’re excited to say that the February London Lonely Girls Book Club pick of 2025 is Butter by Asako Yuzuki.
Book Club this month is 7pm on Tuesday 25th February and we’ll be meeting at our favourite, Paris Baguette in Battersea Power Station.
At the in person meeting you’ll be able to meet others who love books too, have a good hour (likely more) to discuss the book, your thoughts, feelings, favourite and least favourite characters! We’ll have our Lonely Girls Book Club conversation cards to help drive the conversations without being too boring or stuffy whilst also enjoying some good food and chats! Didn’t finish the book, or really didn’t like it, please do still come along! All thoughts, opinions and feelings are welcome, plus if you’ve already read the book in the past but would still like to hang out with other book-ish girlies and share your thoughts from when you read it, we’d so love to see you there.

Can I just turn up to an event on the day?
Unfortunately, not. For all Lonely Girls Club events registration is required, you can never just turn up on the day as all of our venues have a maximum capacity that we need to adhere to. So make sure that you sign up to our newsletter or join our Facebook group for your city so you never miss a beat!
How do I register for events?
Lonely Girls Club events are exclusively for community members. Sign up to the Facebook group or newsletter here to join the community. From there you will be given the password to register for our events, which you find here on our website.
