London Lonely Girls Club Draw & Sip with Lizzie Knott

We know how much you love our creative events, so we’re so so excited to announce our first ever draw & sip event on Friday 25th April teaming up with incredible illustrator Lizzie Knott. 

In this fun and hands-on workshop, Lizzie will walk you through how to create your very own character illustration. Whether you want to create a portrait of yourself, or artwork for a friend, you will learn how to capture personality through composition, colour palette and background. You will be creating an A4 character collage through mixed materials, including card, POSCA pens and dried flowers to name a few. Make sure to bring photographs to refer to if you are depicting someone else. By the end of the workshop, you will have a lovely take home piece to gift to someone you love or to frame and place pride of place, as well as being able to enjoy a non-alcoholic cocktail during the session which is included in your ticket! 

Lizzie Knott is an illustrator and graphic designer based in East London. She has worked with a range of clients including the BBC, Comic Relief and ASK Italian. She works digitally to create bright and colourful artwork which exudes joy and personality. She is fascinated by people and often illustrates vibrant characters, distinctive of her cheerful style. As well as being an illustrator, Lizzie has also worked as a children’s book designer where she designed a variety of titles from baby board books to flap books about science.

What: The cost for this event is £25.45 which includes the expert guided workshop, all equipment & materials, your finished piece to take home and a fabulous non-alcoholic bellini to enjoy during the workshop.
